Hello!
I’m reviving this blog to chronicle the people, practices, and products I encounter every day that are just too interesting to go unshared.
Given my interests and vocation, my topics will have a green angle. Flowscapes is the name of a Web site I created to post the results of a green roof design study I conducted, but I also view it as term that encompasses the ways to optimize resource flows—from energy to water to humans.
In addition to every day finds, I’ll review the people and places that have made this year already memorable. Stay tuned for more on my eco-toilet and graywater experiments, my two journeys to New Orleans, the American Planning Association conference (very interesting), Maker Faire, and more. I’m hoping allies in the cause will keep me updated on their adventures and flowscapes. Stay tuned!
