Derek Sivers, founder of CD Baby and creator of one of my favorite TED talks (here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V74AxCqOTvg), suggests we all create “now” pages so folks know what we’re working on. Here’s mine.

  • Currently, I’m updating my tangled web of websites (just say “no” when your overly techy web helper decides to put all eight of your websites–including several historic non-public pages–on one hosting account).
  • I am also redoing my second book, Liquid Gold.
  • I’m also creating the eco-toilet system for which I’ve been collecting components for awhile. It’s time to get them in use or give them away.
  • And I’m trying to see more of California.
  • I’m attempting to start up a group to advocate for better local bicycle infrastructure: Bike/Walk San Mateo
  • I’m paring down possessions. See my stuff for sale under user name “ecowaters” on eBay.
  • I just finished reading Dawn Again (by regenerative rancher Doniga Markegaard) and The Art of Asking (by Amanda Palmer, queen of the Patreon-funded music career), and I’m now in the middle of Reinvention Roadmap (Liz Ryan on how to get around the broken human resources system) and Belonging (Toko-pa Turner). But I’d love to have some fiction to read. (Please do not buy these books from Amazon; buy them from your local bookstore or Powells.com)
